How to delete every tweet from your account with ease?

Get rid of those old tweets

Last updated:

There may be a hundred reasons why you do not want your previously published tweets to appear. Whether you were raging against real-life injustice or spying on silly reality TV, you might not want those attached to you for the long haul. When you are always able to delete individual tweets, Twitter itself does not allow you to delete tweets in bulk. This has not stopped springing on third-party apps and services that promise to help you do that. Here are some of our recommendations which can help you delete every tweet.

Products used in this guide:

  • Clear all: TweetDelete ($ 10 in TweetDelete)
  • Automatic bulk removal: Jumbo (Free for Google Play)

What is the Difference between these Apps?

Twitter does not allow users to delete their entire history, nor does it allow them to delete Tweets in bulk. There are a few apps like Jumbo privacy that can safely remove and save your Tweets to your phone or other external storage sources. However, due to the APIs and Twitter policies, they cannot delete more than 3,200 Tweets at a time.

Another feature of apps like Jumbo is services like TweetDelete, which can delete your entire Twitter history. However, you can do this only after manually downloading the entire backup, and then reloading it in the app.

Each option has its advantages and disadvantages, so consider what might be best for you before you start deleting your Tweets. Just make sure you read the terms and conditions regarding the privacy and security information and Tweets before proceeding.

How to get rid of all your Tweets instantly

  • Go to the Google Play store on your PC or smartphone, and search for Jumbo, or type delete tweets in the search field to find the most-read app that can delete your Twitter history.

  • Log in to the service you have chosen and accept the terms and conditions of service.
  • Decide which tweets you want to delete by timeframe or keywords and whether you want to delete them automatically or manually in the future
  • Download a collection of your history from Twitter if the app or service you have chosen does not already give you this option. Jumbo offers you the option to save your collection to your phone or third-party storage options such as ClikLoud, and soon to Google Drive and Dropbox.

Bottom Line

Now that you can you delete those embarrassing tweets related to a particular ideology, fake news or some other childish stuff, you must have been relieved. Your twitter space will be more fruitful with your matured tweets and a polished identity.

We all upload stuff we want to erase forever so twitter was keen to keep everything intact, but not any more.
