Meizu has already launched the M1 Note in India at ₹11,999 and the device will be available via Amazon from 20th May. Unlike Xiaomi or Huawei’s Honor brands, which use the flash-sales where you have to pre-register and then shoot your luck in the flash sale; Meizu has not preferred to go on this route. Meizu will sell M1 Note in an open sale, which does not require any registration.
Commenting on the launch, the Vice president of Meizu, Li Nan, said:
“We see India as a huge opportunity and are very excited to bring the much awaited M1 Note to the country. We are committed to bring high-quality technology at a very attractive price and deliver a great user experience. The Meizu M1 note will come at an incredibly affordable price of INR 11999. The superior quality and performance at a very competitive price will make sure providing the best experience to mobile users. We are also thrilled to partner with Amazon India and leverage their breadth of ability to give the best customer experience when ordering for a device.”

The M1 Note has already made a lot of heads turn overseas, as it features a higher spec sheet than what its price would suggest. While it doesn’t have the most original design, rather it actually looks like an Androidified iPhone 5C. The M1 Note has a glossy polycarbonate design, with Meizu’s signature home button up-front, which may look similar to the iPhone one.
Talking about the specifications of the phone, the M1 Note comes with a 5.5-inch IGZO display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 panel. It’s powered by MediaTek’s MT6752 chipset with an octa-core processor (Cortex-A53 1.7GHz x 8 cores), a Mali T760 MP2 GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smart phone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat-based Flyme 4 OS.
The smartphone also features a 13-Megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, 3140mAh battery, and connectivity options like LTE support, dual-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The smartphone will be available in White, Blue, Green, Pink and Yellow colors.
Meizu has really stepped up their game by offering great phones at a very affordable price. At these spec and price points, the Meizu M1 Note is all set to compete with its rivals.
